Impressions from Meet Magento 2017 in Poland
We ended last week on a trip to the south of Poland. In Krakow, a two-day conference “Meet Magento 2017 PL” took place this year. It is one of the world’s leading series of conferences for business, e-commerce, the Magento platform, and its regional ecosystems. The conference combines business and technology for one purpose: the success of e-commerce. Two days of discussions on online trading, opportunities for creating a Magento platform, and e-shops.
Of course, Krakow itself left a deep impression. Wawel Castle, Old Town Square, Plac Nowy and just a few of those that have been visited.
My main impressions:
- Magento is a popular platform in Poland
- Magento 2 is not the future, but the present
- Security patches – they will be better off immediately
- Speed and UX are even more important than betting
- The importance of “good” search on the site is increasing
- Magento invests in the latest technology
The event took place in the very center of Krakow, where a tram repair shop was previously located and now a brewery with conference facilities.
We are one of the first to take places in the hall 🙂
Total 300+ participants. At the same time, three reports were held, two of which were in English.
The conference was also attended by Magento Evangelist – Ben Marks.
Such events, of course, must not only be productive but also fun. After the first day of the announcements, a celebration took place on board and on the river bank.
